Waste Types: What can you put in a skip?

Below is an easy to follow non-exhaustive visual guide of what you can and can’t put in a skip, of the waste products we can and cannot allow. If you’d also like to throw away Gold, Cash or Fast Cars please let us know, we will be happy to help you with the disposal of these items.


Can you put Plasterboard in a Skip?

Plasterboard is not allowed in skips without prior permission from the supplier and ourselves.

- Electrical equipment (WEEE)
- TVs & Computer screens
- Fridges/Freezers
- Mattresses
- Tyres
- Batteries
- Paint & Paint cans
- Gas bottles
- Asbestos
- Non recyclable tiles
- Carpets
- Clinical or medical waste
- Tree trunks or large sections of trees
- Wood PRE 2007*
- Food waste

Wood PRE 2007 is proven to be hazardous there may be an additional charge, please double check with us to avoid any additional charges.


Large tree stumps are not accepted by most skip suppliers and are considered a prohibited item. Please make alternative arrangements for their disposal.
